we got hooked up with internet at home on saturday. but the reason i haven’t posted since then is because we also got cable…so, we’ve been enjoying all that the 300 channels have to offer us. we even got a couple of movie channels for the weekend to try out, so we had to watch them before they disappeared.
today has been a fun monday so far! first deacon and i worked out at little gym. here we are heading to work out…
and on the way we saw someone important, but we aren’t sure exactly who it was…all we know is they had an 8 police car escort around their limo and wouldn’t let anyone pass them on the highway…
then when we got to little gym the ladies were super nice. they had a fun welcome for deacon!
deacon had a great time at little gym. he played on all the equipment (except the bars..no monkey swinging yet). he loved it when the instructor brought out the balls and was sad to see them go back up…but he had fun and so we signed up for the rest of the summer!
we also had fun this weekend on friday when we drove down to yoakum. we are so close now that from our place to nana and pawpaw’s home was about 1.5 hours. that is awesome! we played at their house but deacon did not stay awake for any fireworks. he was worn out from all the fun of yoakum and the playground. he also ate dirt. gross.
well, it is about lunch time and then nap time…i’m switching to one nap a day this week. yesterday he took two (one morning before church and one at 2:30-5pm)….and then he had trouble getting to sleep…so we are going to transition to one nap at midday. we are going to try at least.
