we got our referral today! woo hoo! i can’t show any pictures yet. i can post them after we pass court in about 2-3 months. until then, you must trust me when i say that our new child is ADORABLE!!!
we were referred a precious little BOY!
He is healthy now and on target for his age. he is outgoing and playful and already says 6 words in amharic. i want to board a plane now and just go get him today. do you really think anyone would
two funny things. first, we got deacon’s referral on my mom’s birthday, april 6. today is clayton’s mom’s birthday! is that crazy???
also, when we traveled to get deacon we went with the bottomlys….the bottomlys got their referral for a precious baby girl on monday! hopefully we will be travel mates again!!!

My husband and I are waiting for referral, we have our application in Ethiopia since July this year, but we are not expecting THE CALL until next year, but of course hoping it will be sooner. In the meantime I read about other peoples experiences in the adoption subject and try to learn from them.

HALLOOO! I am on the list directly in between you guys and the Bottomlys. I hope I get to meet you all in Ethiopia! I see that this is your second adoption thru Gladney to Ethiopia. I have questions I would love to ask about ease/difficulty of starting a second adoption process (I KNOW I am soooo ahead of myself, as we are not even in the crazy sleepless parenting stage the first time yet – haha!)
